Steel Fire Doors STEEL FIRE DOOR SETS A range of steel doors engineered and built to exacting standards using computer controlled machinery to ensure dimensional accuracy. Tested and assessed up to 4 hours fire resistance L.P.C. listed/approved. Flush faced neat attractive finish. Unique lipped leaf adds to security and helps to prevent passage of smoke. Frames packed with mineral wool, eliminating need for con-crete infill after installing and thereby reducing fitting time. Unique registered design frame fixing allows for simplified installation. Extensive range of stock sizes available, or tailor made to suit site dimensions. All doors pre hung with factory fitted ironmongery. Acoustic performance on single leaf doorsets.
DOOR LEAF Thickness 54mm MATERIAL 1.000mm cold rolled steel sheet with internal steel stiffeners. MANUFACTURE Door leaf manufactured by welding and folding in computer con-trolled automatic machines, giving exact dimensional accuracy and smooth surfaces. The door is hung on lift-off hinges complete with thrust washers and is given additional security by means of a dig-bolt fitted between the hinges. FRAME DEPTH The standard box frame has a depth of 96mm. Special frames are available. All frames have special fixings as standard to simplify and reduce installation time	MATERIAL Profile formed from 1.5mm cold rolled steel sheet, complete with a clll in the form of a flat bar or alternatively a 3mm thick U section. The frame is infilled at the works with Rockwool and thus pressure grouting is not required on site. DOOR FURNITURE The standard latch/lock is an ASSA modula unit complete with handles, although other locks can be fitted. Closers and other ironmongery items can be fitted directly on to the door leaf.
	SURFACE TREATMENT The standard finish for leaf and frame is red zinc phosphate primer. Other surface finishes are avail-able on request FIRE RATING 4 hours to SS 476, Part 22, Loss Prevention Council Reference A/os 543,544 & 545. SOUND REDUCTION 37db achievable on single leaf door with additional acoustic seals added and raised cill. *Stock Doors, Frame Type 21
