Security Shutters & Plant On Window Shutters
ROLLER SHUTTER BOX
Roll formed aluminium box, bevelled 45° (front, bottom face), stove enamel finish, fitted in two parts, weather seal design, top and bottom for universal use. Supplied with transparent protective film, removed for installation.
SHUTTER BOX ENDS
High quality pressure moulded aluminium, stove enamel finish paired ends to suit the shutter box profile, with vertical spigot section for strength and located into the vertical guide rail.
VERTICAL GUIDE RAIL
Extruded aluminium guide channel, aluminium alloy section, AIMg SL05, designed to interlock with box end. Clutch-type burglar proof fixings into adjacent walls or supporting steelwork are always used with sealing caps. Double plastic extruded sealing strips inserted into the guide channel results in smooth operation and wear reduction.

MAIN SHUTTER CURTAIN
Double walled cavity profiled lath, self interlocking design, manufactured from extrude aluminium alloy 6063, to ensure maximum security with high stability and strength. Side locking pieces of high quality polyamide, are inserted throughout the curtain. This reduces wear and noise with a smooth operation.
COMPONENTS
High quality galvanised steel shafts, octagonal and tubular, inner safety plates, shaftbolt P.V.C. bearing caps, ball races etc, providing strength and durability, ensuring trouble free operation to satisfy the specific requirements.
SPRING LOADED UNIT
Manually operated fitted with internal tubular spring mechanism, designed to suit the required shutter dimensions, loading and envisaged conditions.

AD 37 Extruded Shutter Standard Features

37mm extruded lath laced together with nylon endlocks. Standard colours are white and brown. If required lath can be powder coated to any standard RAL colour (please refer to AM Sales Office for further details). |
Extruded aluminium guide channel with dimensions of 53mm x 22mm, powder coated white or brown as standard. The guide section is a preformed one piece extrusion. All guides come with brush and neoprene weather strips. |
137mm headplates powder coated as standard in white or brown. The plates are a robust design with 45° bevel corner and reinforced profile edge. |
Boxes made of rollformed and edged aluminium, with a stove enamelled finished surface. Front box bevelled to 45° to match the contours of the headplates. Standard colours are white and brown. |

Types Of Operation

Electrical operation via an inbuilt tubular motor allowing ease of operation at the press of a button. Inbuilt motors in conjunction with varied control options allow multiple shutters to be operated by one switch, or interfaced with fire alarms or burglar alarms. Remote control operation is also available. Every application can be installed with or without manual override options. |
Manual operation via a counter¬balanced sprung barrel system which allows easy manual lifting of most applications. Complete with key operated centre position double through lock system, mounted to suit the application. |
Reduction gearbox operation allows easy manual lifting of most
applications via a crank rod operator giving internal opening of externally mounted shutters. |
